The roof and exterior walls are unpainted cedar shingles intended to remain a natural weathered color with varnished wood windows, trim and frames. Solid stain is used on handrails and cedar rail paneling. Interior finishes are all natural varnishes and stain on trim, wood ceilings and floors with painted smooth sheet rock walls. Cabinets in the kitchen and bath areas are all natural oak. Antique furnishings are natural finished fir. Interior floors are massive natural firs with a Swedish finish. The ground level exterior entry floors and stairs adjacent to the lily/koi pond are 12x12 Mexican sandstone tiles with glazed tile insets. The stair tower and the fifth floor office are carpeted.
